The Wolf Among Us 2

Telltale Games will be out with The Wolf Among Us 2, but not until they have the entire season ready. According to a post on the Telltale Games twitter page, they are still in production of the latest installment of the Fabletown hit. They have been rebuilding their company while re-releasing some of their classics. In fact, earlier this year they issued the Batman: Shadows Edition, which offers fans of the Batman: Telltales Series a whole new way to play with new artwork.

While others may criticize Telltale Games for not releasing more information including a potential release date for the new title, other companies have been equally questioned for releasing materials that have needed more than a first day patch to fix. Not only did Telltales Games have to deal with the pandemic, they also completely restructured their company and business partners.

Despite the shakeup, Telltale Games completely remastered several of their classic titles beyond just the Batman: Shadows Edition. Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventure and Strong Bad’s Cool Games for Attractive People have been released for PC on the GOG and Steam platforms. No word on if or when those titles will be available on other platforms, however the Batman: Telltales Series is also available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

While this may not be the title fans were hoping for, it does mean the studio lives on. During restructuring, Telltale Games lost many titles to original copyright holders and had to relaunch others on new platforms. These changes take time and effort under normal circumstances, so expect them to take even longer now. We are excited to play The Wolf Among Us 2 and see what is next for Bigby Wolf and the rest of the Fabletown heroes.
